What we evaluate

GOF is built for functional netlist ECO cases that are slow, fragile, or impractical in a conventional flow. A useful first discussion usually involves one of these situations:

  • An RTL change needs to land on a gate-level netlist without a full re-synthesis.
  • A post-layout fix must use available spare cells and remain metal-only.
  • DFT, scan, boundary optimization, or a difficult LEC issue makes an ECO fail.
  • You want to compare GOF with an existing Conformal ECO flow on a real case.
